Below is a list of my so-called Extreme restoration series of blog posts. These blog posts show my struggles in restoring retro computers that would normally be discarded. Starting with easier examples and ending with the most extreme restorations that I did over the past years
Atari 1040 STe a.k.a. Puzzle project
This is how it all started. This post shows my attempt in fixing a case of an Atari 1040 STE that was destroyed during shipping. Video was created by Perifractic and listed on Youtube.
Commodore 64
This particular C64 caused my heavy jaw drop as I didn’t expect anything from it. It was described in Perifractics Retro Recipies channel on YT
Atari 800 XL
In this two-part blog post, I’ve tried to rebuild a completely destroyed Atari 800 XL. This one was also covered on Perifractics RR YT channel.

Commodore 116
My rather poor attempt in restoring individual original rubber keys of C116 keyboard. Another one covered by Peri.
Vampiric Amiga 500
This time it is all about Amiga 500 made for the Halloween. It was in a pretty poor condition and I’ve tried some immersion printing tech on it.
Commodore 64 Wasabi
One of my coolest refurbs featuring Perifractic again! One of our best collabs. Also, this was the most expensive C64 I’ve ever bought. The story comes in three parts.
Commodore SX-64 keyboard
One of my attempts in restoring of a broken case.
Covered on Perifractics YT channel.
Consul – Typewriter
Not a computer this time but it gave me a lot of headache to restore it to a proper condition.
Amiga 2000 Tesseract
This is my most iconic build so far. It took over two years. The story is divided into seven blog posts. Not really a restoration, but a building a highly modded computer from scratch.
