… or we have a mouse wheel working !!!
Intro

Update
Finally, after many months of work, we have this! The mouse wheel for all AMIGA line of computers is now working flawlessly! We are aware that a lot of people were waiting for this, but after all, we think it was worth waiting for it!
It took a lot of effort and work on Willy’s part. Basically, the firmware was rebuilt from scratch and rewritten TWICE, and, on top of that, some software for in-depth diagnosis. As a result, the brand-new driver for Amiga was developed.
The major problem with the whole project is that there are so many various combinations of Amigas out there. Apart from stock Amigas, there are often accelerated machines. If it was not enough, most of the accelerators also vary strongly. This added a heavy burden to solving the problem, but finally, we can proudly write that the mouSTer now supports them all.
Another problem was that, because of the project’s original objectives, the mouSTer cannot emulate the Cocolino mouse wheel solution. This is why the whole
We’ve run some tests in-house, but the great community that we have on our Discord channel has also helped a lot with debugging issues and testing.

Feel free to join our Discord if you have any questions.
Future work will be focused on developing adapters for RS232 in old PCs, as well as ADB, so the mouSTer will be able to work with Apple machines.
On my part, well, I am still printing tons of the mouSTer cases that are added as a free bonus.

You can print your own if you like. The link to the model is HERE
Also, at the moment, we do not predict any shortages of the adapter unless there is a large buyout.
We are also slowly preparing to dump some heavy news about the mouSTers future. This is why I am slowly modifying my blog and preparing a brand new newsletter engine. If you don’t want to skip any new blog post or news, feel free to subscribe to my newsletter. The subscriber list is being built from scratch, so if you’ve ever subscribed to my blog in the past, you now have to do it again. Sorry for the inconvenience, but that was the only way.

That’s it, see you in the next post.
