… or a rather boring cleaning story
Intro
This is another short post but this time about the Enterprise 128 computer. The machine was working but required a nice cleaning and some wires.
I’ve already covered one of the Enterprise machines on my blog in the past so feel free to have a look for details on making a video lead or other mods there.
This particular machine was sent to me from the other side of the world – Brazil – as a donation to the blog for which I am very grateful. It took over two years to cover it on the blog though as the TODO queue is quite long 😀
The computer was in working order but as I’ve mentioned earlier, it needs a bit of cleaning.
Let’s go!
Enterprise 128

PSU and video wire
As I’ve mentioned earlier, the making of video wire was covered in the Enterprise 64 blog post so I won’t cover it again.
If it is about the PSU, I’ve just adopted a standard 9VDC unit to power the machine. When doing a similar job, just remember about pin polarity, as it has to be swapped most of the time.

Some pics of the PCB after disassembly.

Cleaning and 3D-printed parts
After standard cleaning, I’ve 3D printed a summy port cover and a joystick.

Outro
Tada! Enterprise 128 is ready and waiting 🙂
